Melissa Lewis, O.d.
Dr. Lewis attended Purdue University for her undergraduate studies where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree with a focus in Public Health. She went on to attend the prestigious Indiana University School of Optometry where she obtained her Doctorate of Optometry. She is a member of the Indiana Optometric Association and American Optometric Association. She is also a member of both the Gold Key and Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honors Societies. During her time in optometry school, Dr. Lewis was president of VOSH, which is a volunteer organization that provides sustainable vision care to underprivileged areas. Due to her experience with this organization, she is eager to continue to do mission work throughout her career. Dr. Lewis has special interests in the treatment and management of dry eye, glaucoma, and contact lenses. It is her goal to provide each patient with an informative and personable eye exam experience.
