


Kiersten Nelson, O.D. holds a Bachelor Degree in Biology from Taylor University in Upland, Indiana. She received her Doctor of Optometry from the prestigious Indiana University School of Optometry. She is a candidate for membership in the American Academy of Optometry, was a member of Taylor University’s student chapter of the Lions Club and is currently a member of the Fellowship of Christian Optometrists (FCO). She has made several trips to Central America to provide Eyecare to those in need. Dr. Nelson completed her residency in Primary Care/Ocular Disease at the VA system in Danville, IL where she specialized in diabetic eye disease, glaucoma management, and the treatment of other eye diseases. Dr. Nelson began practicing optometry in 2008 and began working for Ossip in September of 2009.

Rex Teeple, O.D.
holds a Bachelors Degree in Science from Purdue and Indiana Universities and he attended the prestigious Indiana University School of Optometry, where he received his Doctorate of Optometry . He is currently a member of the American Optometric Association, the Indiana Optometric Association and Volunteer Optometric Service to Humanity. He has taken many mission trips to Central America and Africa to provide medical eye care. Dr. Teeple also volunteers for many organizations and is past President of the LIONS Club, a trainer for Leader Dogs for the Blind and active with Habitat for Humanity. In addition to his volunteer efforts, Dr. Teeple has received awards for the Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease, The Melvin Jones Fellow (International LIONS Award), and the Meritorious Service Award from the Indiana Optometric Association. He began practicing optometry in 1974 and joined Ossip in 2006.


Elizabeth Allspaw, O.D.
is originally from Avon, IN, and a graduate of Avon High School. She received her bachelorÕs degree in biochemistry in 2004 from Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Florida. Elizabeth graduated from the IU School of Optometry in 2009, where she enjoyed being an active member and officer in VOSH, serving on 3 mission trips to the schoolÕs clinic in Guanajuato, Mexico. She also enjoyed presenting a Poster at the 2008 AOA Conference in Seattle, WA, which received an award from the Indiana chapter of the AAO. Until now, Elizabeth has been working as an independent contractor. She is a member of the AOA, and an active member of the Central IN Society of the IOA. She greatly looks forward to being a part of the Ossip family. One of her professional interests is fitting bifocal contact lenses. Elizabeth married her husband, Greg, in June 2009, and they currently reside in Brownsburg, IN. This last December, they welcomed their first child, Ethan Christopher. In addition to being a new mom, she also enjoys singing, ballroom dancing, travel, and spending time with her large, extended family.



Scott Hasty, O.D.
holds a Bachelor of Science in chemistry from Ball State University, and earned his Doctorate of Optometry from the Michigan College of Optometry. He is a member of the Indiana Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association, as well as the Central Indiana Optometric Association. Dr. Hasty joined Ossip in 2001.

Alma Noreika, O.D. holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Optometry from Indiana University and attended the prestigious Indiana University School of Optometry where she received her Doctorate of Optometry. She is a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society. Dr. Noreika is active in the Lithuanian Community and the Lithuanian Girl Scouts Association. Her interests include Irish dance, youth soccer, golf, travel, water sports and spending time on Lake Michigan. She is married to Kevin and has two daughters, Samantha and Anna. She began practicing optometry in 1988 and joined Ossip in 2010.

Greg Smith, O.D.
holds a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis and attended the prestigious Indiana University School of Optometry where he received his Doctorate of Optometry. Dr. Smith is a member of the Indiana Optometric Association and the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. He began working for Ossip in 2000 (while in Optometry School) and began practicing optometry with us in 2006.


Meagan Avila, O.D. received a Bachelors Degree in Biology from Elmhurst University. She received her Doctorate of Optometry from Ohio State University College of Optometry. Dr. Avila is a member of the Indiana Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association and the Central Indiana Optometric Society. During school she was the Trustee of the American Optometric Student Association. Dr. Avila specializes in Lasik co-management. Her husband Jud is also an Optometrist. She enjoys volleyball and led her team to the National Championships in 2000. She began practicing optical medicine in 2008 and joined Ossip in January of 2010.

Kathryn Smith, O.D. holds Bachelors Degree in Biology from Purdue University and received her Doctorate of Optometry from the prestigious Indiana University School of Optometry. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society, and the Indiana Optometric Association and was named as one of the 50 Most Influential Women in Optical by Vision Monday Magazine. She began practicing optometry in 2006, and joined Ossip in April of 2007.


Julie Weibert, O.D. received her undergraduate degree in Life Sciences from Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas and her Doctorate of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois. She began practicing optical medicine in 2005. Dr. Weibert is a member of the American Optometric Association, Illinois Optometric Association, Tomb and Key Honor Fraternity, and the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society. She graduated from Illinois College of Optometry with honors (Summa Cum Laude). She has gone on five international missions to Paraguay, Nicaragua, and Mexico. Dr. Weibert began working for Ossip in 2011.


Rhonda Schuff-Robinson, O.D.
earned her Doctorate of Optometry from Indiana University in 1982. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Indiana Optometric Association, and the Society of the Central Indiana Optometric Association. She is a leader in the national Optometric community and the founding president of Women of Vision, a mentoring organization for women optometrists. She is a frequent guest lecturer at the various schools of optometry in North America and continuing education programs for Doctors of Optometry. She is a regular contributor to optometric journals and serves as a contributing editor of Optometric Management magazine. She has been a guest on The Martha Stewart Show and The Doctors discussing her forte: fitting multi-focal contact lenses; and was recognized by Vision Monday magazine as one of the top 50 women in optical and by Review of Optometry magazine as one of the top 10 most influential women in optometry.


Scott Allison, O.D.
performed undergraduate work at Butler University and Depauw University, and earned his Doctorate of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Indiana Optometric Association, and the Central Indiana Optometric Association. He is also a National Board of Optometry Clinical Examiner.

Ganhan Ewers, O.D. is originally from Portland, Indiana. Her early interest in optometry led to two Associate of Science degrees in Optometric Technology and Opticianry at Indiana University. She continued on and received her Bachelor's degree at Indiana University, Bloomington and earned her Doctorate of Optometry from the prestigious IU School of Optometry in 1995. While enrolled as a graduate student she was an Assistant Instructor for three years and Assistant Supervisor of interns and technicians in the Atwater Clinic Dispensary. Dr. Ewers was awarded Member of the Year by Alpha Phi Omega. Dr. Ewers has over 15 years in practice and 22 years in the optical field. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, Indiana Optometric Association, Central Indiana Optometric Society and Sports Vision Section of the AOA. Her professional interests include medical optometric care, contact lenses and sports vision training. Dr. Ewers is excited to begin the next phase of her career providing medical optometric care and incorporating sports vision training at Ossip Optometry.

Brian Fiddler, O.D.
holds a Doctorate of Optometry, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Psychology, from Indiana University. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Indiana Optometric Association. He is also a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa honor Society for Optometry, and is an active member of the Boy Scouts of America.


Shelley K. Dieudonne, O.D. holds BA in Political Science from DePauw University where she graduated with honors. She received her Doctorate of Optometry in 2002 from the prestigious Indiana University School of Optometry where she was a member of Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honorary and served as student chapter president of fellowship of Christian Optometrists. Dr. Dieudonne was awarded the Indiana Optometric Association Jack W. Bennett Humanitarian Award in 2002, and the IUOSA Assistant Instructor of the Year Award in 2000 and 2001. Prior to joining Ossip, she worked for five years as a missionary optometrist in Haiti. She continues to support Christianville Mission in Haiti through short-term mission team coordination. Dr. Dieudonne joined Ossip in 2007.

Luke Streich, O.D.
received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Indiana Univeristy and his Doctorate of Optometry from the prestigious Indiana University School of Optometry. He began practicing as an Optometric Physician in 2010. Dr. Streich is a member of the Indiana Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. He is married to Katie and they have a son named Jack. Dr. Streich began working for Ossip in 2011.

MaryBeth Woehrle, O.D. holds undergraduate degree from Indiana University, Bloomington and a Doctorate of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry. Dr. Woehrle completed her residency at the Illinois College of Optometry specializing in Pediatrics, Binocular Vision and Vision Perception. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Indiana Optometric Association, College of Optometrists in Vision Development, and the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Woehrle began practicing optometry in 1990 and she began working for Ossip in April of 2008.

Eustacia Imler, O.D.
is a 1995 graduate of Indiana University, earning a Bachelors Degree in biology, and a 1999 graduate of Indiana University School of Optometry. She is a member of the Central Indiana Optometric Society, and both the Indiana and American Optometric Associations. Dr. Imler joined Ossip in 2005.


Amanda Gosch, O.D. holds a Bachelors Degree in Nutrition from Indiana University and attended the prestigious Indiana University School of Optometry where she received her Doctorate of Optometry. She spent her residency at the Huntington, West Virginia VAMC specializing in Ocular Disease. Dr. Gosch is a member of the Indiana Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association and the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society. She began working for Ossip in 2002 (while preparing for Optometry School) and began practicing optometry with us in 2008.


Abbey Nolting-Flora, O.D. received her undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Indiana University in 2003 and her Doctorate of Optometry in 2007 from the prestigious Indiana University School of Optometry. She began practicing optometry in 2007. Dr. Flora is a member of the American Optometric Association (low vision and contact lens & cornea sections) and the Indiana Optometric Association. She is particularly interested in treating dry eye syndrome, ocular allergies, and computer vision syndrome. Dr. Flora began working for Ossip in 2008.

Shilpa Shah, O.D. is originally from Indianapolis where she graduated from Franklin Central High School. She then received her Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University and then moved to Chicago where she attended the Illinois College of Optometry. Shilpa graduated from ICO in 2009. While at ICO, she received a great deal of clinical experience in Chicago and was also given the opportunity to have clinical externships in Arizona, Rhode Island, as well as Indianapolis.
Until now, Shilpa has worked at a private practice specializing in contact lenses in the far west suburbs of Chicago. She is a member of the AOA and the Illinois Optometric Association.


Judson Avila, O.D.
received a Bachelors Degree in Zoology from Miami University in 2003, where he graduated Cum Laude, and a Bachelor of Science Degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2004. In 2007, he received his Doctorate of Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Dr. Avila is a member of the Indiana Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. He earned the Board of Trustee's scholarship from Pennsylvania College of Optometry and received the American Optometric Association's Aviation Vision Course certification in October of 2006. Dr. Avila specializes in treating the complex visual needs of both commercial and recreational pilots. He began practicing optometry in 2007 and joined Ossip in November of 2008.


Natalie Corey, O.D. holds a Bachelors Degree in Biology from Indiana University and attended the prestigious Indiana University School of Optometry where she received her Doctorate of Optometry. She did her residency in Cornea & Contact Lens at Indiana University. Dr. Corey is a member of both the Indiana and American Optometric Associations and is a candidate for Fellowship with the American Academy of Optometry. In her free time, Dr. Corey, a graduate of Cathedral High School, enjoys community theatre and is involved with the Carmel Repertory Theatre. She began practicing optical medicine in 2009 and joined Ossip in 2010.


James Kramer, O.D. holds a Bachelors degree from Indiana University. He also received his Doctorate of Optometry from the prestigious Indiana University School of Optometry. He is a member of the Central Indiana Optometric Society (CIOS), the Indiana Optometric Association (IOA), and the American Optometric Association (AOA). Dr. Kramer spent 30 years in the Army Reserve, retiring as a Colonel in 1996. He is married to Dory (a Zionsville native) and has four grown children, John, Julie, Annie, and Kyle. Dr. Kramer also has 14 grandchildren. He began practicing Optometry in 1966 and joined Ossip in 2010.

Charles Stumpf, O.D. received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from the Univeristy of Southern Indiana and his Doctorate of Optometry from the prestigious Indiana University School of Optometry. He began practicing optical medicine in 2011. Dr. Stumpf is a member of the American Optometric Association, Indiana Optometric Association and the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society. He enjoys bicycling, playing sports with his brothers and friends, farmers markets, and traveling. Dr. Stumpf began working for Ossip in 2011.
